Tico Rainforest B&B is located in Northeast Costa Rica,
and it is less than two hours from it's Capital, San José.
Our Country is privileged to be highly recognized for our global biodiversity
and is known for hosting more than 900 species of birds,
more than 3000 plant species, more than 120 mammals,
87 species of reptiles and more than 50 amphibians.
Many of them are endemic to Costa Rica.
No other country can claim such diversity
Here at Tico Rainforest we have documented well over 200 species of birds
and we are a prime location for bird watching and photography.

Visitors can photograph from our 360°balcony that features feeders with perches and many surrounding native species with fruits that attract birds.
Our 1.2 hectare rainforest area that has river frontage is also a prime photography area.
